How do I set up a collaboration?

You can set up collaborations using the tabs "Settings"->"Collaborations". Create a group, then add members' emails. If your collaborators are already members of e-nnovate they will be added instantly, otherwise you can send them an invitation and they can sign up for a special collaborator membership. This “Collaborator” membership is free, although access is limited to the collaborative files, and registration is required.

Once the collaboration is created you can assign entries or whole topics to be shared in this collaboration. Depending on the collaboration setting for each folder your collaborators can either change and add their own entries or only comment on entries.

How do I organize my lab notebook?

You can either organize your topics chronologically, by quiktagging them, or a mixture of both. You can have also an unlimited number of folders – hence one per each experiment. You can add, delete, and rename your folders and experiments by using the tabs, "Settings"->"Folder & Labels".

If you want to create a view spanning multiple topics you can create a portfolio of the entries involved. Please see the Portfolio-FAQ form more information.
